These Words Have Helped Me

Good Morning!


A few weeks ago, around the time of the Lunar New Year of the Wood Snake, I opened my fortune cookie after eating some long life noodles and yummy dumplings in celebration.  You can even see the food residue from my fingers on the paper.  I thought the words were amusing, interesting, even a bit funny and unusual.

I have changed my understanding of these words as the year unfolds and I wanted to share this with you.  Now, true, this fortune was just for me.  However, the sentiment behind the words may be helpful to others.  News of the world has brought up many emotions and thoughts for us all.  And I come back to the words "Don't panic".  


Like the Wood Snake, I remember to be flexible and find time each day to shed the emotions - the skin - that binds me tightly and I must release it so that I am able to move

forward.
