2025 Year of Change and Possibilities

Good Morning!

Miss me?  I've been spending lazy summer days enjoying my garden, my morning coffee and the coolest hours in the early part of the day.  I make a practice of getting out of bed with positive thoughts, calm emotions, and a smile.  I look at the world around me and practice saying "that's not my business" or "I don't care" and try to see things from a different perspective.

With all the change in the world on micro and macro levels, it's important to build a strong energetic foundation and find balance.  This balance allows us to go with the flow of change and the possibilities for growth.

Is it working?  Mostly, but not always.  The construction next door seems endless some days.  I have stopped spraying and allowed the deer to nurture themselves with my beautiful hostas.

I nurture the 3 tomato plants that are flourishing in pots on my deck.  I add fresh herbs from my little garden to delicious eggs and vegetable dishes.  I cook when it's cool enough and try new seasonal recipes, some of which I create myself.

I practice my Wu Ming Qigong several times daily because I have the time to do so and feel the benefit.  Mediation is always part of what I practice because it calms my busy mind and allows my heart to be peaceful.

"Imbalances are caused by an excess of emotions, continual stress and lifestyle choices...Balance comes from the heart.  Self-healing relies on balance - inside and out."

Adapted from Grand Master Nan Lu

I do this for my beautiful future.  I hope you have something that nurtures your body, mind and spirit.

With love and gratitude,

Esther
